Saturday 18 May: South Devon Big Band. An evening of classic Big Band Swing music. This 18-20 piece big band fronted by Neil Maya, will take you back to the Golden Age of Swing. Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and many more.
Venue: St James' Church Hall, Mount Pleasant Rd. Exeter EX4 7AH (Please note. Overnight parking in the church car park is not permitted). Great floor. Lots of room to dance. No bar. Feel free to bring your own drinks.
Time: Doors open 8pm - 11.30pm

VENUE: 'The Mansion' Fore Street, Totnes, TQ9 5RP. The Mansion is opposite Lloyds Bank on Fore Street between The Royal Seven Stars Hotel and the Arch. We are in the Hall on the first floor behind the main building and opposite Totnes Library.

The room is upstairs and has its own separate entrance from the main lobby. Now with bigger dance floor.
Dates: Every Thursday. New 6 week courses starts Thurs 23rd May. No need to bring a partner. All welcome.
Time: Early evening session for complete beginners 6.30 - 7.15pm. Second Session (Beginner's/Improver's) 7.30 - 8.30pm. Practice/Drink/Relax/Settle Down/Have a Chat 8.30 - 9pm. Final session (Improvers/Intermediates) 9 - 10pm. Practice/chillout 10 - 10.15pm. Times may vary.

On the corner of Fore Street Heavitree and Church Street there are 2 pubs, The Horse and Groom and The Ship and Pelican which are all opposite the Co-Op. The Conservative club is a short distance down Church Street on the left hand side.
Buses: There is a bus stop in front of the Co-Op. 'Heavitree Co-Op' stop
Parking: There is street parking on Church Street and Kingsway (Resident Parking is only until 6pm). Gordons Place Car Park EX1 2RR (Free after 6pm BUT there is some Resident Permit Parking - allocated spaces)
