LINDY HOP IN EXETER & TOTNES
In the light of the COVID Pandemic (the virus is still out there), what we have learnt about the spread of the virus and in order to protect the health and safety of all our dancers, teachers, guest teachers, band members, hall staff as much as we can and minimize the spread, we would like you to keep to the Govt advice (which may change) and stay at home if you:
1. Have symptoms of COVID i.e a high temperature; a new continuous cough; a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste and have been tested positive
2. Have recently come into contact with someone who has COVID
3. Feel unwell for any reason, even if it's not COVID related
4. Suddenly become unwell during our events, please tell us
5. Wash hands regularly
Think about others. There will always be dancing at another time.
Hand sanitizer will be provided for our classes and events. Our venues have plenty of space to dance in and are well ventilated with access to outdoor areas.
Next Freestyles/Socials/Events (Exeter):
VENUE: St. James' Church Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, EXETER EX4 7AH. On site parking. Lots of space for dancing. Great floor.
DATES: Thursday 1/8/15/22/29 July. Introduction to Lindy Hop solo jazz moves/routines. Beginners welcome.
Doors open 7.15pm. Class starts 7.30-8.30pm.
As this is a solo jazz class there is no need to bring a partner. Dancers will be well spaced from each other and there is a lot of ventilation. Due to COVID restrictions partner dancing will not be allowed.
Price: £30 for 5 week course. Numbers are limited. Booking in advance is essential. Pay on the night.
Dates: ALL CLASSES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE There is no set date as to when we will start full classes.
VENUE: 'The Mansion' Fore Street, Totnes, TQ9 5RP. The Mansion is opposite Lloyds Bank on Fore Street between The Royal Seven Stars Hotel and the Arch. We are in the Hall on the first floor behind the main building and opposite Totnes Library.
Beginners welcome. Come along and have a go at some moves and see what it's all about.
Come along and try out this fabulous dance. No experience necessary. Great for beginners. All welcome. No need to bring a partner. Try out a few moves, dance to the music, have a chat and some fun.
